Bio:Marie Hansen completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at Long Island University Brooklyn and her predoctoral internship at NYU/Bellevue Hospital Center. She has trained at NYP/Weill-Cornell Medical Center, Columbia University Medical Center, and Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine and is a current postdoctoral fellow at Columbia University. Her dissertation research focused on the role of emotional dysregulation in the development of hallucinations and delusions in the general population, including the role of alexithymia, heart rate variability, and emotion regulation strategy.
